Terms of sale

1. Purpose

CareerCard.io turns a CV or LinkedIn profile into a one-page career card (a « CareerCard ») together with preparation advice (« the coach's word »). The service offers a free tier and fixed-term paid access: One format, 7 days (€4.99), which opens printing and exports for a single chosen format; 7-day access (€9), which opens them for all six formats; 3-month access (€29) — one-off payments with no renewal — and a Practice subscription (€19/month) for career professionals, cancellable at any time.

2. What the free tier includes

A free account gives access to the entire product on screen: all six formats, the coach's word in full, all four languages, and card editing. It allows three cards to be generated. Printing and PDF/PowerPoint exports require paid access.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown inclusive of tax, in the currency matching the buyer's country (€, $ or £). Payment is processed by Stripe; TalentVox never stores card details. Access is activated immediately after payment is confirmed, on the account tied to the email address used.

4. Right of withdrawal and guarantee

Paid access is digital content supplied immediately after purchase: under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer expressly waives the statutory right of withdrawal at the time of payment. TalentVox nonetheless grants a 14-day money-back commercial guarantee on all access, with no justification required: an email to compte@careercard.io is enough.

5. Generated content

Cards and advice are generated by artificial intelligence from the documents the user provides. The user remains solely responsible for checking and using the resulting content. TalentVox does not guarantee the accuracy of any generated wording, nor any professional outcome (interview, hire).

6. Account and termination

An account (email or Google) is required to use the service. The Practice subscription can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Users may request deletion of their account and data at compte@careercard.io.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction.

Data processed

Your CV / LinkedIn profile: held in memory for the time of the generation, sent to our AI processor (Google, Gemini models) to produce your card, then not retained as such on our servers. Your cards: without an account, nothing is stored — the card lives in your browser and disappears when you close it. With an account, the card is kept on our servers so you can find it again: its content, its per-format rewrites and the coach's readings. It is kept until you delete it, and at most the fifty most recent per account. Account: email, optional name, language, sign-in timestamps — kept until the account is deleted. Payment: processed by Stripe; we keep the reference of the access purchased. Emails: sent through Resend.

Analytics

We use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to measure usage and record technical errors. The content of your documents is never sent to it.

Sessions

Your sign-in is kept for ninety days on the device used. You can sign out of all your devices at any time from your account menu.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability: write to compte@careercard.io. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) if you believe your rights have not been respected.

Refund policy

All paid access carries a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, with no justification required. Send an email to compte@careercard.io from the account address, with « Refund » as the subject. The refund is issued through Stripe to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days.
